D2D of course is free, and Vellum is relatively expensive (depending on your budget). Same for D2D, which otherwise I think is a great option. Maybe that won't bother most people, but again, I like to drill down into customization. One drawback with Vellum is that it's instantly recognizable when someone has formatted their book with it. For example, it had one chapter header that I really liked the style, but it couldn't be centered. I'm a little late to this party, but I'm thinking of trying Jutoh which is what led me here.įirst, I've tried Vellum and rejected it because the customization options are limited.
